Graveyard Falls

So I need a dose of non snowy butt freezing weather and went looking back through our trips this past fall and found these.

Presidential palace...

In honor of the inauguration, I give you President Obama's living quarters at the White House (before security chased me away)

She's growing up so fast...

This past October our pup turned one year old! Then just this past Christmas we celebrated our one year anniversary of bringing her home. It's hard to believe a whole year has passed and she's only been with us that long. She's such an integral part of the family now it's strange to think of our life without her.
These pics are from a quick walk around our house. There's a path about a quarter of a mile away that's deep (deep for us anyway) into the woods where we can let her roam for a bit untethered.
Then Mark found a great log for her to jump. We spent about a hour throwing sticks back and forth over the log while the other took pictures of her having fun.

Father and Son...

Mass apologies to all 4 of you that read this thing:) I've been a bad bad blogger these days. Life has gotten the best of me that's for sure but with the new year is a new leaf. I will endeavor to blog at least weekly! I also endeavor to take more pictures. My poor camera is feeling very neglected sitting in the corner only to come out to play for the monthly portrait obligation for PMI (I'm the chapter photographer with a local project management group in D.C. My "job" is to take a photo of the monthly speaker with the president. Then they post it on the website..how exciting.) But I digress. Where was I? Oh ya - bad bad blogger.

I was sorting through all the non PMI images I taken (actually - we've taken as the Hubby is also a photo bug) and found this gem. We were taking family photos right before turkey day and my brother in law was trying to get his youngest to smile for the camera. I think the look on his face is so sweet!
